![]() The best example I came up with is "New" Coke. I've been trying to think of a brand that shot themselves in the foot more than "Reason Studios". I’m ok using it as a plugin for now, but that way I still can’t do 100% of the things I used to… ![]() I stopped doing it cause it became too clunky and unpractical, also bitwig allows me to do all of that in a way better and deeper way, but I’ve always kept wishing Reason would get better at some point…I like the rack as a concept. I’ve always kept using reason standalone from time to time for jamming and approached it differently basically I used it as a modular environment, mapped the rack to a bunch of knobs, faders and buttons and only used the timeline to record automation when performing on it. Tbh I’ve had to use other daws for ages now, I used to rewire it most of the time. “ we’ve raised the price of this dying software. Yeah, I switched to bitwig a while ago (from logic/protools though) and there’s no comparison with that either…I guess it’s impossible for them to keep up with this kind of daws at this point…the way they’re going about it is still a bit shameless though!
